In a show of solidarity and empathy, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, the representative of Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, extended heartfelt condolences to Hon. Dhikrullahi Adedeji Stanley Olajide, mourning the loss of his father.
Alhaji Abdullateef Akin-Tokunbo Olajide, father to Hon. Stanley, passed away in the early hours of Friday, April 12, 2024, leaving behind a legacy cherished by many.
Expressing his condolences, Hon. Adepoju remarked, “I share in the grief and sorrow of Hon. Stanley and his family as they mourn the passing of Alhaji Abdullateef Akin-Tokunbo Olajide, a beloved father and a patriotic Nigerian. As a colleague and friend, I send my deepest condolences to Hon. Stanley during this difficult time. May the memories of his father’s life bring him peace and comfort, and may the family find solace in their faith and the love and support of their community. Rest in peace, Alhaji Olajide.”
Hassan Adesodi Olaoniye, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Hon. (Dr.) Adebayo Adepoju, in a widely circulated press release also quoted Ibarapa kan who stated further that “The death of Alhaji Akin-Tokunbo is painful, and he will be greatly missed by those who knew him and the lives he touched while alive. I enjoin the family at large to take solace in the legacies that Alhaji left behind while praying for the repose of his soul.”
