A former House of Representative member, Egbeda/ Ona-Ara federal constituency, Hon Busari Olayemi has urged Muslim faithful to continue in the lessons of the Holy month of Ramadan noting that the lessons are not meant only for the month but beyond.
Hon Olayemi who made this known in his Eid-el-Fitr message to all Muslims stressed that Eid-el-Fitri should be a time of thankfulness and gratitude.
The former lawmaker enjoined Nigerians to wear the garment of love, goodness, generosity, and kindness towards one another while treating everybody irrespective of their tribe or religion with all kindness.
Hon Olayemi further urged Nigerians to not relent in praying for Nigeria and not to lose hope as a great future awaits the nation if they continue to believe in the nation’s potential.
He also encouraged Nigerians not to forget the less privileged in their communities and immediate environment harping on the virtue of giving and helping one another.
He urged Nigerians to also be security conscious as they celebrate, not giving space to acts that can jeopardize the lives of others and to also report to the appropriate authority in case of any suspicious movement around them.
