A House of Representatives member representing Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency, Hon. Remi Oseni has decribed late Olubadan of Ibadanland, as an embodiment of honesty, courage and focus.
Remi Oseni made the submission in a condolence message made available to newsmen at the deathnews of Oba Lekan Balogun, Okumade III.
The Imperial majesty, Lekan Balogun was said to pass on at the University College Teaching Hospital,UCH, Ibadan late Thursday evening.
According Remi Oseni, Late Olubadan was ever determined, and resilient, resolute on his intention until he reached success.
The lawmaker noted that he was shocked to receive the deathnews of the late Olubadan, adding that he saw him safe and sound last weekend at the coronation of De-Damark with no sign of body weakness.
While praying for the families for the deceased and the stool behind, charged everyone to maintain his good disposition as no one can determine when death will knock.
Hon. Oseni called the families of the deceased to at this critical time, draw one another closer, leave no crack in its hole, praying for God’s comfort for both the deceased families, Oyo State and Ibadan Town.
Recall, Late Olubadan, Lekan Balogun was a presidential aspirant of the Social Democratic Party in 1999, and later an elected senator that represented Oyo Central Senatorial District on the same political platform between 1999 and 2003, died at the age of 82.
