The Chairman, Conference of Nigeria’s Legislature ‘s Speakers, and speaker, Oyo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Adebo Edward Ogundoyin has called Nigerian leaders to devise a new means towards setting the nation on a pathway for sustainable economic transformation and inclusion.
The Lawmaker made the call while delivering keynote address at the 29th Nigerian Economic Summit (NES) and Launch of Earnest Shonekan Centre for Legislative Reforms and Economic Development held in Abuja on Monday.
The Lawmaker made this known via a post on his Official Facebook page on Tuesday October 24.
According to Ogundoyin’s Facebook post, the summit, which provided an opportunity for national and global development partners as well as civil society organizations and academic scholars brainstorm on ways to set Nigeria on the path of economic recovery and sustainability also availed participants the opportunity to share creative ideas.
Speaking at the event on the theme: “Pathways to Sustainable Economic Transformation and Inclusion”, Ogundoyin stressed the role of robust legislations in the overall nation building process.
Hon. Ogundoyin stressed on the vital essence of coming up with novel strategies that not only foster economic progress but also guarantee equal opportunities for all sectors of the society.
Ogundoyin’s Facebook post reads: “It was heartwarming for me to deliver a keynote address at the 29th Nigerian Economic Summit (NES) and the Launch of Ernest Shonekan Centre for Legislative Reforms and Economic Development in Abuja.
