Nigeria@63: Remain Steadfast Building Nigeria

Oyo South Senatorial District lawmaker on the platform of the All Progressives’ Congress, APC, Sarafadeen Alli has called Nigerians to uphold steadfastness in spate of socio-economic challenge.

Senator Alli made the charge in a 63rd pre-Independence Day Speech made available to newsmen on Saturday.

The Lawmaker noted that the 63 years Independence celebration must be tailored towards securing advancement of the country, while the government must intensify efforts in its better inclusive and diversified economy which would invariably benefit the citizens.

Sen. Alli said citizens should realize the essence of the Independence is meant for collectivism, believes through focus, diligence, steadfastness and patriotism the nation could return to prosperity.

“While we still face economic and social challenges as a nation, it is imperative that we do not lose sight of the progress we have made and the boundless potential we possess as a people.”

“As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, we must remember the true essence of independence, which lies in our collective efforts as a people towards securing the advancement of our nation and its citizens.”

“We owe it to ourselves and to future generations to remain focused on our national aspirations and work diligently towards achieving them. “

“Let us uphold our commitment to nation-building, and work together to build a nation that is prosperous, just, inclusive, and fair to all.”

However, the Lawmaker assured of better enjoyment of the dividends of democracy under the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has started implementing economic relief plans, stressed that total co-operation and undaunting support would enable the plans into fruition

“Let us assure the people that this is a temporary phase, and our leaders are working tirelessly to fast-track the country’s economic recovery and sustain the gains we have achieved.”
