A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Abisoye Fagade has called the federal government to strengthen its institutions for a sustainable development.
Dr. Fagade stated this on Sunday as Nigeria observes her 63rd Independence Anniversary.
He said core transformation needed in the country goes beyond the mere narration, but a requirement of fundamental shift including collectivism and commitment.
“In my perspective, the core transformation needed for our nation’s betterment goes beyond surface-level changes.”
” It requires a fundamental shift in our collective mindset, emphasizing a profound commitment to our country”, he said.
The APC Chieftain maintained that the expected commitment should be tailored towards strengthening the country’s institutions, adding this would trigger quest for sincere love, unity and progress with spontaneous erasure of self-ambitious mindset.
” This commitment would prioritize strengthening of our institutions over personal ambitions, leading the way towards the realization of a truly great nation.”, he added.
Dr. Fagade, while wishing the country progressive stand, urged the present led adminstration to fully enable dividends of democracy reaches every member of the country, with efforts to pinning down insecurity for socio- economic independence.
