“As we celebrate this Independence Day, let us commit to building a better Nigeria for all. Let us commit to building a nation that is founded on justice, equality, and opportunity for all.”

“A nation where no one is left behind, where every child has access to education and healthcare, and where people can live in peace and security. A nation where our differences are celebrated and respected, and where our shared values are upheld.”

“On this Independence Day, let us remember that we are all Nigerians, regardless of our ethnic or religious backgrounds. Let us unite in our shared love for this country, and let us work together to make it a better place for everyone.”

“As we look to the future, let us focus on the next generation. Let us invest in our youth, and provide them with the tools they need to build a prosperous Nigeria. Let us give them the skills and education they need to compete in the global economy, and let us empower them to realize their full potential.”

“Let us give them hope and a reason to believe in a bright future. Nigeria, let us remember our past, celebrate our present, and dream of a better future together,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Association charged residents of Oyo State, to support the administration of Governor ‘Seyi Makinde in order to deliver more dividends of democracy.
