Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has called on the just inaugurated tenth assembly under the speakership of 3rd term elected Eruwa-born legislator, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin to ensure an executive-legislative synergy which would fruition a continued progressive governance in the state.
Makinde made the call shortly after the proclamation of the 10th Assembly held at the Oyo state house of Assembly, secretariat, Ibadan.
Our correspondent, reports that the governor assured of smooth better performance in his second term , noted his administration would improve education’s budget to 20 percent, ensure all day power distribution and establish an agency, Oyo state mobilization agency for socio-economic development (OMASED) that would focus on market sanitation, waste management and urban renewal with affordable healthcare services.

” We’ll send list of our commissioners and special assistants which will need speedy confirmation as to enable sustainable development in the Omituntun 2.0, we’ ll like the state to set the pace in generating electricity all day which is believed will birth industrialization in the state, so do everything to fast track legislative process over our requests from the 10th Assembly “, Makinde stated.
