The Apesinola and Founder,Ilaji Hotels and ICAST, Dr. Dotun Sanusi has described governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde as best governor in the country especially in infrastructural development.
This was made during commissioning of 500KVA transformers and restoration of electricity at Idi Obi/Jigan/Kure/Olorunda Ogunsola and environs, Ona-Ara Local Government Area on Monday.
Dr. Sanusi stressed that the governor is an ever trusted leader, a great emblem of godsent, and a great exemplary of the a professional lawyer made him to rain blessings on him daily.
” Politics is never a choice for me but Engr. Seyi Makinde has rewritten the story beautifully well for the society of engineers and that we are resourceful in the society.”
“Of the present governors in the country, Makinde has been the best of them” he added.
In the same vein, the Chairman, Ona-Ara Local Government Area, Hon. Musibau Sanusi appreciated the governor for setting Ona -Ara on the pace of laudable infrastructural development saying: ” Governor Makinde has really affected Ona-Ara residents from usual appelation from being ‘uncivilised people’, he said.
Speaking, Governor Seyi Makinde called on the Ibadan Electricity Distribution management to ensure discount mechanisms to residents of Ona-Ara residents as to commensurate efforts put in place in getting transformers to over 8 communities funded by Dotun Sanusi.
” Engr. Sanusi does not just think about himself but for all. He donated transformers to over five communities, and as well infrastructure”
” The poles, cables and transformers are put here for the Ibadan Electricity Management should not just come here to collect money but also they will tell us funds spent on cables, poles and transformer on how they will discount for the residents so that we will recover funds they failed to expend”
” The law states that Ibadan Electricity company are authorized to co-ordinate consumer payment, but have the good news, the good news is that the world has changed now in Oyo State we can get the electricity generation and distribution, Oyo State will be first State to attain energy distribution sufficiency “,Makinde concluded.
