The Sabiganna of Iganna Kingdom and Chairman, Traditional Council in Iwajowa Local Government, Area of Oyo State, HRM Oba Saliu Oyemonla Azeez Agunloye 1V has felicitated the newly sworn in President/ Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria(GCFR) His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and reelected Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr Abiodun Oluseyi Makinde on their inaugurations for assumption of offices.
Oba Oyemonla Azeez cheered with the duo in a statement which he personally signed and made available to news men.
According to the statement, “I wish to Congratulate well meaning Nigerians on the peaceful transition and to felicitate our newly sworn in President and Commander -in- Chief of Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and re-elected amiable Governor of Oyo state ,His Excellency, Engr Abiodun Oluseyi Makinde on their sweet victories. Wishing them resounding successful tenure of office”.
The Royal Majesty described Tinubu as a rare blessing to Southwest and entire Nigeria, sequel to his brilliance, charisma and competence for the benefits of humanity.
He maintained that Tinubu’s attainment of presidency would no doubt bring succour and comfort to all Nigerians regardless of preferential treatment to any class.
The Sabiganna of Iganna Kingdom said, Tinubu had successfully governed Lagos State with achievements which are obvious to the blind and audible to the deaf, adding that he would make Nigeria proud as he stepped in for good leadership.
In another vein, the monarch described Makinde as an amiable Governor whose style of leadership and administration is excellent and remarkable.
He maintained that he is a Governor who knows where the shoe pinches people of Oyo State and someone who gives maximum regard to the traditional rulers across the state.
The monarch showed his heartfelt gratitude to him over approval that necessitated the presentation of the beaded crowns to some monarchs in Iwajowa LG and other Local Governments in Oke-Ogun zone.
Oba Oyemonla Azeez prayed for Tinubu, Makinde and wished them resounding successful tenure of office as they stepped in to lead in those capacities.
