One would have expected 80% victorious votes cast in favour of the much “touted Kogb’owo kogb’obi” political description of Hon OLAYEMI, our PDP Representative candidate from that Election on Feb 25th in Egbeda LG, going by how much Hon Olayemi had invested in raising so many, to Political reckoning and consolidation of Egbeda PDP, all these without taking “bribe” as described from many of the long list of beneficiaries of his generous leadership.
I wander, and, still wandering over and over again on why then, we couldn’t deliver Egbeda for him, just to pay him back !!!
However, albeit in contradiction, PDP recorded the shocking defeat in whooping 9 out of 11 Wards, a disheartening failure from a government in power, and inexhaustible list of party’s advantages.
Alas! the pain of the loss of the Reps seat of Egbeda/Ona Ara remains excruciating, not for Hon Olayemi, but those traitors who worked against the victory, based on sheer “hatred” for a man, who cannot be diminished by any human being.
The Stark reality is that Hon Olayemi remains a reverred politician, who will be respected till ages. His enviable profile as a grassroots Political warlord cannot be erased as wished by his detractors, no matter what !!!
For those who wasted our votes into ACCORD, we leave you to your conscience. Upon the support you rendered for Accord, it failed to be in the position of taking care of you as you thought.
If the Betrayal knew the plans Hon Olayemi had already kept to his chest for his dear Egbeda people after winning Election, nobody would’ve worked against him.
But, for sure, the Evergreen Politician will soon bounce back by the Special Grace of Almighty God.
History will be kind to the man you wished to demean for when he had the opportunity to lift us all, he played his helping role, which was paid with “BETRAYAL’ unexpectedly by the same people, he showed love & affection for.
Surprisingly, Onaara won the same Rep election for Olayemi…………. already in history.
For our dear “Kobomoje 1”, life has continued positively,. It is those betrayals and all actors in the failure that will be pricked of their conscience
“O betrayals” where is thy sting?, the burden is surely on you, not on Olayemi.
