The Proprietor and Chairman, Ilaji Hotels and Resorts and ICAST Academy, who is also the Otun Apesinola of Ibadanland, Chief Dotun Sanusi has commenced electric transformers distribution to communities in Ona-Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Residents of the area ectasically disclosed to Naijatodaynews.com that the transformers distribution commenced during the recently concluded 2023 Ramadan in the World, following electrification process involving continued supply of new electric cables.
They noted that two communities, Orita-Olorunda and Iyana -Origbo both around Akanran Road, Ona-Ara Local Government have been donated transformers while six (6) other pledged transformers are on the move across the area.
The Ona-Ara residents have credited the proprietor of Ilaji Hotels and Resort,Chief Dotun Sanusi about his magnanimity and usual infrastructural development in Oyo State, especially in Ona-Ara Local Government Area despite having no political attachment and ambition.
” It appears Dr. Sanusi is a mysterious being to us at Ona-Ara Local government area. Distribution of 8 transformers through Dr. Sanusi began during the concluded Ramadan”
” Electrification process initiatially, now 2 transformers are donated to Orita-Olorunda and Iyana-Origbo communities while 6 others are ready for distribution to communities. Only a politician can do this or a political position seeking may try this huge gesture!”, they stated.
However, the residents have called on all victorious political candidates in the last General elections to emulate Sanusi who voluntarily impact Ona-Ara Local Government and embark on fuller developmental projects as to enable enjoyment of the democratic dividends throughout the country.
Recall, Ilaji Hotel and Resort, Chief Dr. Dotun Sanusi reiterated the last time he hosted Gov. Makinde, traditional and provincial heads before the concluded gubernatorial election stating that his philanthropic gesture to the state will continue and never for political interest neither will he venture into politics now or in future.
