St Joseph Catholic Church, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State could not contain creme de la creme in Oyo State and beyond as wake keep for late Chief Mrs Justina Ogundoyin was held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
Church Chief Priest, Very Rev. Father Richard Omolade who presided over the programme described mother to Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly(Rt Hon Adebo Ogundoyin) as a quality woman to emulate.
Omolade stressed that late Justina Ogundoyin was a woman of virtue, whom during her lifetime ensured adequate protection of her children and others.
The Chief Priest also characterised her as a philanthropist per excellence, whose financial gesture was extended to church’s programmes and progress.
He added that the deceased had done so many things for church as that qualified her to confer ‘ Queen of the Harvest’ on her in 2021.
Omolade however appealed to the Speaker, to sustain the good legacies of her late mother in church and other places.
Hon. Abbass Agboworin, member representing Ibadan Northeast/Southeast Federal Constituency at the green chamber of National Assembly said late Chief Mrs Justina Ogundoyin lived short life but meaningful and wonderful.
He said, the deceased would be forever missed on areas of kindness, philanthropy and accommodation of all among others.
The Federal Lawmaker however asked the speaker, his siblings and other members of the family to take heart in respect of the phenomenon.
In his tribute, Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin described his mother as a best friend, who will be remembered for life.
He described her as a perfect and inestimable woman who felt so much concern for children, families and others around her.
Adding that, despite her short sojourn , she lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation and celebration, praying God to grant her eternal rest.
He however appreciated families, friends, associates, church members, and others over unflinching support rendered over the demise of his mother.
