As Christians in Kajola Local Government, Oyo State, Nigeria and across the globe are celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, an indigene of Okeholand in Kajola LG, Hon. Rotimi Ajumobi has urged adherents of Christianity to make sacrifices for greater unity, peace and political stability of Nigeria.
Ajumobi made this admonition in an Easter statement which he pcersonally signed and made available to naijatodaynew.com
Ajumobi who hails from Oke-Ogun Ogbinte in Ward 07 axis of Okeholand urged them to be prepared and willing to make sacrifices for greater unity, peace, political stability and progress in our beloved country.
Ajumobi, according to an Easter message, called on Nigerians to seize this opportunity of the Easter holiday to reflect deeply on what more they need to do in order to ensure that everybody regardless of religion, politics and other differences lives mutually and cordially with each other.
He also appealed to all Nigerians to keep praying for the progress and peace of Nigeria, Oyo state and Kajola Local Government constituency.
Ajumobi however asked people and most especially, the Christian faithful to reflect deeply on purpose of death, resurrection of Jesus Christ and what such phenomenal had brought to them all.
He enjoined them to preach love, unity and togetherness that would bring cordiality and relationship that harbour no sentiment and acrimony against one another.
Thereafter, Ajumobi prayed that the current Easter Celebration would be known for joy and unlimited happiness, while the subsequent ones will be celebrated in company of prosperity, sound health and longevity of lives.
