The SDP Candidate for Oyo North Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola has appealed to the constituents to remain calm and non-violent towards hardship in connection with ongoing naira swap, fuel scarcity, epileptic supply of electricity and others are biting harder across the country.
Mulikat Adeola made this admonition in a release issued by her Media Team and made it available to news men.
Ogbomoso-born politician stressed that she has adequate knowledge that constituents across the thirteen(13) local governments making Oyo North Senatorial District are currently encountering hardship which is in connection with the ongoing naira swap, fuel scarcity, epilepsy of electricity and other burning issues.
The Ex Majority Leader of the House of Representatives asked constituents to refrain from lawlessness, violence and act of taking laws into one’s hand in retaliation to unbearable experiences.
The SDP Candidate said, hardship could not last for long as the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) and Nigeria National Petroleum Commission(NNPC) are doing everything possible in their capacities to bring an end to hardship that is being experienced at the moment.
Mulikat Adeola however reiterated her commitment to effective representation that would ultimately culminate in welfare and betterment of the constituents, if elected.
She said experiences garnered while at the lower chamber of the National Assembly would be leveraged upon for efficient service delivery needed for progress and development of the constituents.
Mulikat Adeola said, she had adequate knowledge of the needs and requests of each local government in the Senatorial District, pledging to hit the ground running if she makes it to the red chamber of National Assembly at the poll slated for February 25, 2023.
