The Lawmaker representing Ibadan Southeast Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Abdul-Rasaq Ademola Abdullah known as ‘Omosheu’ has lauded Governor Seyi Makinde over warmth reception given to Khalifa Sheikh Mahi Ibrahim Niyass, who is a son to the late foremost Islamic scholar.

The Lawmaker described Makinde’s gesture to the visitor who came all the way from Senegal as laudable and memorable one that deserves gratitude.
Ibadan-born politician stressed that Makinde made Khalifa Sheikh Mahi Ibrahim Niyass feel at home with provision of all logistics to guarantee his comfort through out his stay in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Omosheu reiterated that this laudable act displayed by Makinde sincerely gladdened the hearts of all members of Tijanniyyah-Ibrahimyyah society in Ibadan and Oyo State as a whole.
On behalf of members of Tijjanniyah-Ibrahimyyah Society in the state, Omosheu pledged their commitment and staunch support to possibility of Governor Seyi Makinde’s second term bid.
Among those who were in attendance at the meeting are the Deputy Governor(host), Barr. Abdul-Raheem Bayo Lawal, Commissioner for Works and Transport, Prof Daud Sangodoyin, Commissioner for Women Affairs, Alhaja Kafilat Omolabake Olayiwola, Commissioner for Establishment, Siju Lawal, Special Assistants On Islamic Affairs and Youths & Sports, Abdul Rasheed Abdul Azeez and Kazeem Bolarinwa respectively.
In another vein, The Lawmaker described Makinde as a good Governor whose governance has brought unprecedented feats to the nooks and crannies of the pacesetter state.
He pledged to give the necessary support in terms of mobilization, campaign and others that would ascertain his second term in office.
Omosheu enjoined the good people of Oyo State to throw their weight behind Gov Seyi Makinde to win his election for second term of office in other to further enjoy good governance.
