The APC Candidate for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Engr Soliu Abu Gbadamosi has promised to leverage on experience garnered over the years to enhance effective representation and prompt delivery of democratic dividends to the constituents.
Abu Gbadamosi disclosed this while speaking during a political debate organised by Iseyin Community Service(ICS) in Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The APC candidate who was a Director and Coordinator at the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology for 6 years stressed that, experiences garnered in that capacity, while presenting & defending the agency’s budget before the National Assembly and other places would be brought to bear when he assumes office as a member of the House of Representatives.
Speaking on the area of Agricultural development, he prayed President Muhammadu Buhari approves the bill for the establishment of University of Agriculture in Oke-Ogun zone, adding that if the bill doesn’t scale through, he promised to champion the course of re-presenting the bill.
Abu Gbadamosi reiterated that Oke-Ogun zone is naturally blessed with different mineral resources which the proposed University would help to enhance their exploitation for human benefits and development of the area.
He however pledged to prioritise effective representation, sponsorship of the needed bills/motions and prompt response to oversight functions as key constitutional duties expected of him.
He added that, constituents’ betterment would be given the needed attention, with provision of portable water and other developmental amenities at the constituency.
Abu Gbadamosi solicited for the support of the constituents by making him their preferred candidate for the constituency’s seat at the House of Representatives and promised not to disappoint them.
