An All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate from Ibarapa East /Ido Federal Constituency, Engr. Aderemi Oseni has said that the constituents deserved quality and purposeful representation to advance the course of grassroots development.
In a statement on Saturday, Oseni also promised to ensure effective and qualitative representation for his constituents, adding that he would bring a lot of dividends of democracy to the people of the area.
According to him, “the essence of democracy is to have good representation that will be productive in the capacity of fashioning out laws that will add value”.
The APC chieftain declared that his mission was to serve as well as to engage in laws that would benefit the constituents.
“Our people in Ibarapa East / Ido Federal Constituency deserve quality and purposeful representation, and this I plan to deliver when I get the mandate to serve, even much more than what I am presently doing.
“ I have gone round, talk to people and get their feelings. I went to communities and interacted with their leaders, unfortunately, the feedback I got was frightening to me too. If it is the quality of representation that is causing this, then I’m ready to serve you diligently. At this critical moment, I felt we must have a better representation, our politics must be better”, the statement said.
“This time around, our people must be magnanimous in taking good decisions by not only supporting but mobilising votes for the right candidate so that we can uplift their socio wellbeing through purposeful representation. Even though it’s a legislative seat, by the grace of God, I will use it to ensure we have better politics played locally”, Oseni assured.
He further maintained that his desire to contest was to raise the bar of political representation and demonstrate leadership capacity to set a prospect for the future.
Oseni, however, solicited the support of the constituents, stressing that his ticket represents people-oriented programmes to improve their standard of living.
