The OKERE of Sakiland, HRM Oba Khalid Olabisi, has disregarded claims by a person simply identified as Saheed Bada , who has been accused of conniving with certain persons using the image of the Palace of Okere of Saki to hijack portions of land belonging to members of the Community.
In a letter signed by the Personal Secretary of the Monarch , Mr. Oladeji Adedayo , accused Mr. Bada to have been notoriously and illegally encroaching pieces of land without any form of authorization from original owners or directive from the Palace, selling to unsuspected people , causing mayhem and malicious damage on the affected properties.
“I have the directive of the OKERE of SAKILAND, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. SURV. KHALID OYENIYI OLABISI OYEDEPO III, to notify you that, henceforth, you have been barred from gaining access/entry into HRM’s Palace and also desist from contracting land agreements and or transactions with the members of the Public as your actions are reprehensibly tantamount to tarnish the highly revered image of His Royal Majesty”
“I wish to add that , appropriate quarters have been notified of the contents of this disclaimer”, the letter reads
He also accused Mr. Bada to have been fingered in some of the land crises in different areas , whom members of the Community have been reportedly causing public nuisance, using the image of the Palace to mobilize thugs , intimidate, dispossess and fortibly take-over lands that don’t belong to him and his cohorts
OKERE, however, disclaimed Mr. Saheed Bada and called the Public and other relevant authorities to disregard the accused claims, related to the Palace of Okere and parading himself as the Monarch’s emissary and advised unsuspected people not to trade land related issues with him .
