The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delegation from Kogi State, paid a solidarity visit to the party’s presidential flag bearer in the forthcoming presidential election, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (GCON), in his Abuja residence.
AbdulRasheed Shehu, Special Assistant to H.E Atiku Abubakar on Media & Broadcasting made this known on Thursday, August 11 in a release personally signed and made available to news men.
The delegation led by the former governor of the state, Idris Wada, enthused that the people of Kogi state are excited with the emergence of Atiku as the 2023 Presidential candidate of the party and reaffirmed their commitments toward ensuring his victory at the polls.
Former Governor Wada acknowledged the fact that the Wazirin Adamawa enjoys a robust friendship with the people of Kogi state; hence his antecedents and the old links with the state will certainly translate into a huge electoral victory.
On his path, the former vice-president who thanked the delegation for the solidarity visit, promised to work with them for the collective success of the party in particular and the country at large, with a strong assurance of ensuring continuous engagements and constant interactions with the people.
