APC Aspirant into Oyo State House of Assembly, Mr. Dominic Babajide Akinlotan has debunked the rumour and outrightly dissociated self from purported defection from APC into Accord Party.
Akinlotan who intends to represent Iwajowa State Constituency showed his true position and commitment to progressive party in a statement he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynew.com
Idiko-Ile born politician had without mincing words distanced self from alleged decamp from All progressives Congress to Accord Party.
According to him, “my attention has been drawn to rumours and complete speculation spreading like wild fire on social media that I have left APC for Accord Party”.
” I wish to state categorically, convincingly and without any equivocation that I’m still a staunch, committed and loyal member of APC.
” I’m not a desperate and overambitious politician who prioritize personal aggrandizement, parochial interest and self desire at the expense of masses whom I’m obliged to serve wholeheartedly”.
Akinlotan however warned those who are desperate to have his name associated with Accord Party’s membership to desist henceforth.
He reiterated that he remains a loyal member of APC, adding that the meeting coordinated by elders and leaders of APC in Iwere-Ile and Iganna zones of Iwajowa Local Government on Sunday 5 and Monday 6 justified loyalty and commitment to progressive party.
Meanwhile, Akinlotan asked the agents of fake information and sensational journalists to have their facts verified before going to social media.
