People’s’s Democratic Party, PDP councillors across Egbeda and OnaAra Local Governments making the Federal Constituency have endorsed and drummed support for Hon. Busari Olayemi’s candidature, in order to emerge victorious at the general elections slated for 2023.
The twenty two(22) councillors who are drawn from twenty two wards in the Federal Constituency have shown their solidarity and support at the epoch making meeting held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Leader of the house in Egbeda Local Government, disclosed that their convergence at the meeting point was aimed at endorsing and drumming support for Olayemi who had been earlier endorsed by the party’s leaders.
Leader of the house maintained that they are in unison for Olayemi’s support and emergence at the polls coming up in 2023.
While speaking on reasons necessitating collective support, he stressed that the ex member of State House of Assembly and House of Representatives is a true being who has truly displayed the modicum of ‘Omoluabi’.
Adding that, Olayemi is a grassroot political mobiliser, strategist and party man who without doubt shows loyalty to party and stakeholders.
Aside, another lawmaker disclosed that his endorsement is unequivocally consequent upon on unprecedented achievements that Olayemi had attained in the past.
The Lawmaker maintained that they are to show undiluted solidarity to him, sequel to assistance he rendered towards their emergence as respective councillors of the two local governments.
He however appealed to Olayemi to speak on behalf of the councilors with Governor Seyi Makinde on execution of physical projects to convince voters at the two local governments.
In his appreciation, former leader and Accord party candidate for 2011/2015 political dispensation appreciated them for answering his invitation aimed at contributing to his success at the next polls.
He however assured all councillors that he will talk to the chairmen of the two local governments in their plight and complaint.
He maintained and prayed that their lives will not be the same.
