EXCLUSIVE: Makinde May Concede Automatic House of Reps’, Assembly Tickets To ADC Decampees

Barely some hours to PDP Stakeholders’ meeting that has been slated to hold today,Thursday, March 31st, 2022 at Government House, Secretariat, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Reliable information available to naijatodaynew.com had it that, part of agenda at the slated meeting is alleged Governor Seyi Makinde’s readiness to concede automatic tickets for the House of Representatives and State House of Assembly to African Democratic Congress(ADC) decampees into the fold of umbrella party.
This, among other issues were said to be part of agenda that are highlighted to feature at the stakeholders’ meeting slated for 5pm today.
It has not been substantiated, how many slots, Federal Constituencies and State Constituencies that the automatic tickets would be conceded to.
Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, Ex Senator who represented Oyo Central Senatorial District at the 8th National Assembly, member of Governor’s Advisory Committee and strong chieftain of ADC who defected to PDP prior 2019 general elections remains the arrowhead masterminding how the tickets would be conceded to ADC decampees.
Fact showed that Engr Seyi Makinde became Governor of pacesetter state in 2019, as a result of coalition arrangement by other parties which teamed up with PDP in order to defeat APC.
It would be recalled that many legislative aspirants have been shouting vituperatively in respect of purported automatic tickets which Makinde plans to concede to G-13 among Oyo Lawmakers and some selected parliamentarians in the House of Representatives.
However, Chairman House Committee on Information at Oyo State House of Assembly had earlier issued release to outrightly debunk the speculation and grapevine spreading like wildfire.
