Following the collapse of road in Amuloko, OnaAra Local Government, Oyo State as a result of heavy downpour, Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority, OYRTMA has enjoined the residents to ply alternative routes in order to lessen the hardship.
The piece of advice was contained in a statement signed by OYRTMA and made available to news men.
According to the statement, “the attention Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority has been drawn to the collapse of a temporary alternative route created at the construction of Tioya bridge along Amuloko axis of Ibadan Metropolis resulting from the heavy downpour of Friday yesterday.
“As a result of this, residents and motorists plying the route are hereby advised to take the following alternative routes:
Motorists heading to Amuloko are advised to ply Iyana Awotunde to join Iyana Tioya
Motorists heading to Muslim and environs from Amuloko are advised to ply Abo’nde, Ogbere Area.
“While our men and officers have been deployed to maintain orderliness and assist motorists whilst reconstruction lasts, the Executive Chairman, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi Ph.D implore all to cooperate with officials of the Authority for the safety of all and free flow of movement, the statement ended
