Aspirant into Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Ajumobi has enjoined the people of Kajola Local Government and beyond to register for Permanent Voter’s Cards(PVCs) before INEC closes its portal.
Ajumobi who aspires to represent Kajola State Constituency at Oyo State House of Assembly come 2023, disclosed this in a release he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com.ng
According to him, “it is no more a gainsaying and indisputable fact that an engagement of franchise remains our civic rights and obligation which in reality compels us to vote and be voted for.
“Suffice to say that, he who has no electoral required card of identification would be definitely disqualified from participating in the exercise.
“In lieu of this, Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has opened its portal for eligible Nigerians who are in the required voting ages to register and revalidate their status as voters.
“You are all enjoined to register before the portal closes at the first quarter of 2022.
“This decision in totality will afford us an opportunity to choose leaders of our choice as the next political dispensation draws nearer.
