Oyo:Elero of Ileroland Commiserates With Family Over Demise of Barrister J.O. Ige

The Elero of Ileroland, HRM, Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka Olokolonigi II in Iwa, Local Council Development Area(LCDA) , Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State has commiserated with the family of Aremu Compound in Gbelekale axis of the ancient town over the demise of Deacon(Barrister) J.O Ige.

Late Ige was said to have died on January 4, 2022 at the age of 84 years, after a brief illness associated with old age.

Elero of Ileroland in a condolence message, he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com.ng showed his grief and painfully commiserated with the bereaved family over the demise of the octogenarian.

In his eulogy, Oba Oyedele Saka described late Ige as a thoroughbred Christian who during his lifetime maintained strict adherence and uncompromising status with the principles, moral upright and justifications with the religious teachings, stressing that he was an exemplary Christian whose dedication and commitment to religion earned him “Deacon”.

Elero maintained that Baba had truly displayed the modicum of “Omoluabi” in his both private and public engagements with people, stressing that he was a man of impeccable character, integrity, moral upright, integrity and other noble qualities worthy of emulation.

The Monarch added that late Barrister Ige was a lover of education, whose passion and love for education propelled his children and those who are very close to him to attain certain pinnacles in life.

He said Baba was until his death a Barrister of note, who did not allow material things, financial gratifications and other enticements to dent his image in his professional calling.

The monarch said that the deceased had excellence in dedication to community service and development, saying that he was a unifying and rallying figure who used to preach love, unity, peace and togetherness for the progress of the community.

Oba Oyedele Saka maintained that he and his wife were so passionate and concerned about the progress and development of the ancient town of Ileroland.

He stressed that he had made frantic efforts to reach out to all indigenes of the community living at home and in the diaspora on how investments and investors of note would spring up in the community.

The Monarch said that the deceased had never jettisoned him till he answered the call of the nature, maintaining that he had rendered valuable pieces of advice which are sinquanon to him and stability of the kingdom.

He lamented that his demise was so painful to him, reiterating that Baba left at a time his precious advice would be more useful to him and the community at large. The Monarch took solace in the fact that, from God we come and unto him we shall gather at an appropriate time.

According to him, ” on behalf of all indigenes of Ileroland, I, HRM, Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka Olokolonigi II sympathize with the family of IGE on the demise of our lovely and caring father, Deacon Barrister J.O IGE. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace”.

The monarch however called on the bereaved family, most especially the children and wife to start from where Baba stopped, stressing that Baba’s legacy needs to be sustained.
