A lecturer identified as Okedara Emmanuel with Polytechnic IBADAN was on Mondy morning shot during an attacked by suspected armed robbers.
The suspected robbers was said to have stormed the quarters of the lecturers around staff club, North Campus of the institution around 12:30am. Mr. Oke reportedly got shot at close range
by suspected armed robbers during the attack.
It was confirmed that the suspected rubbers only shot Mr. Okedara who is a lecturer at the department of Biology but another report that female students were also raped not confirmed by westerndailynews source.
As at the time of filling this report, Mr. Okedara Emmanuel is at the intensive unit of University College Hospital ( UCH ) receiving treatment.
