The Chairmanship Aspirant, Oyo State All Progressives Congress(APC) Ajewole Elisha Ajetola has shown his commiseration with the members of family and progressive party in Iganna Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Iwajowa Local Government, over the demise of Pa Jacob Adeleke.
Late Pa Jacob Adeleke, Ago Compound, Iganna in OkeOgun axis of the state,was said to have died on Friday, September 24 at the age of 87 on account of brief illness that was associated with old age.
Ajetola in a condolence message described the death of a patriarch, octogenarian and strong chieftain of APC as a rude shock, taking solace in the fact that from God we come, unto Him we shall gather at an appropriate time.
Oyo APC Chairmanship Aspirant said the deceased was a progressively minded person and Christianity adherent whose death came at a time, his pieces of advice, pool of knowledge and experience would be more useful to generality of human beings.
Ajetola descried late octogenarian as a true and thorough progressive who had never deviated nor moved from path on which late Obafemi Awolowo birthed progressive party.
He stressed that Baba was a charismatic leader, professional scribe and dynamic administrator per excellence whose vacuum left behind would be hard to fill.
He enjoined members of family, political associates and members of APC in Iwajowa LG, OkeOgun and Oyo State at large to take solace in the fact that the patriarch lived a fulfilled life.
Ajetola called on all to emulate the virtues of uprightness, humility and and other qualities that Baba were embedded with.
He prayed God to be with all that he left behind, give them the fortitude to bear the huge loss and grant him eternal rest.
