All Stars Football Club, Oyo has emerged winner of Hon. Isiaka Kazeem Tunde Arole’s Unity Cup.
All Stars FC became winner of the cup of the Lawmaker who represents Oyo East/West State Constituency at Oyo State House of Assembly.
Captain Mikel in his submission, ” it was a scintillating and electrifying atmosphere in Durbar Stadium, Oyo town on Sunday, September 19 during the final match of this year Hon. Arole Unity Cup as many digniatries were in attendance to grace the mouth-watering contest between All-Stars, Fc and Oyo A, Fc.
“There was a massive turn-out of football followers and supporters yesterday waiting for the kick-off, the two teams headed to the pitch of play, and the opening ceremony took off as everything was done in respect to international standards”.
“The two teams acted according to proceedings from the start of the game but didn’t show such dexterity as the two sides found it difficult to create chances for the first five minutes”.
However, Coach Dauda Yusuf led team that looked most likely to grab the opener when Nosa Robinson toom a shot after receiving a short-tamed pass from Ali, but the Goalkeeper was alert to make a save”.

In another development, It was a very happy football loving fans that left Durbar Stadium yesterday as various Awards were presented with cash to different players ranging from Best player of the tournament, most valuable player, highest goalscorer, best goalkeeper, youngest player of the tournament, just to mention but few which was done by Honourable representing Oyo Federal constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi{SKIMEH} while Engr Idris presents the medals and trophy to the finalists.
