ADC Oyo State joins our Leaders, our teeming members and other Muslim faithfuls across the State and Nigeria in the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr 2021.
The holy month of Ramadan has come to an end and the Muslim community is all geared up to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr.
Eid-ul-fitr literally translates into the occasion of breaking the fast. This festival marks the closing of the month long Ramadan fast.
Eid is a festival of charity, it is a festival for self-introspection. Eid ul fitr has a deep spiritual significance for all.
ADC is therefore call on the Governments and all political leaders at all levels to reflect on the lessons of this Holy month of Ramadan and depart from era of paying lips service to the security challenges and adverse economic conditions in land.
we should all remember that
“Whoever kills another one without justifiable cause, surely he is killing all of humanity. And whoever saves the life of another one, surely he saves the lives of all of humanity.” [Sura Al Ma’aidah: Ayah 32]
ADC equally use this moment to identify and condole the families of the victims of banditry, insurgency, terrorism and kidnapping across the land, may Allah console and comfort them.
