A woman in Ado-Ekiti whose name has yet to be identified has displayed an anger sequel to locking of her child’s school by Ekiti State Internal Revenue Service.
The notice at the entrance of Adonai Nursery and Primary School, Bashiri Ado-Ekiti had it that Ekiti State Internal Revenue Service locked the school’s gate during the school official regulated hours for non payment of income tax.
An irate woman in a vedio clip was speaking vituperatively that her child and other children in the school were locked since morning till 4pm of the said day.
The woman alleged the Ekiti State Internal Revenue Service for locking the school’s gate that contain the children during the official regulated hours.
She lamented that an action taken by the officials of the said agency was an act of wickedness aimed at punishing the pupils who have no knowledge of the happening between the school management and the Agency.
She said that the pupils were held hostage since morning till 4pm with no sign of readiness to unlock the gate for the pupils to gain their freedom.
She complained bitterly that she waited for complete numbers of hours at the gate with an attempt to gain entrance and pick her child but she had no access to the school.
She scolded them for taking such
alleged wicked action and subsequently called on government to take strict action against the officials of Agency who held the small children to an hostage.
