Sequel to Sasa Crisis that claimed substantial numbers of lives of Yoruba and Hausa residing and merchandizing in the community, Four Northern Governors have paid the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde a solidarity and are to visit Sasa Community where the notable lives and properties were lost to the ethnic crisis.
The Northern Governors on a solidarity visit to the pacesetter state are Governor Abdulahi Ganduje of Kano State, Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State, Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State and Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State respectively.
Makinde disclosed the notice of their arrival to Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state on Monday evening, February 15.
According to him,”this evening, we welcomed Governors, Abdullahi Ganduje, Bello Matawalle, Abubakar Bagudu and Abubakar Bello, who paid us a solidarity visit”.
” We discussed the strategies our administration is putting in place to maintain peaceful co-existence of all residents of Oyo State”.
