The Commandant of Southwest Security Network fondly called ‘Operation Amotekun’, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Tajudeen Idowu Salaudeen popularly known as Arogunmasa has been reportedly died in a fatal motorcycle accident.
The sad incident was said to have occurred on Thursday, January 28 at Sawmill area, located along Ilero road, while he could not manage to escape the pothole suddenly met on the road.
The late commandant was on his way to Okeho in the early hours of Thursday, when had a call that he needed to return in order to attend to emergency assignment in Ilero.
As soon as he got the call, it was reported that he made the u-turn to Ilero but died immediately while summersauting on a motorcycle that he rode by himslef.
His remains was deposited at Baptist Medical Centre, Ilero, Iwa Local Council Development Area(LCDA), Kajola LG of the state and his remains had been buried on Friday, January, 29 according to Islamic rite.
Arogunmasa was described a fearless and disciplined man whose lifetime was used for activism and readiness to assist those who were being cheated in one way or the other.
He became Kajola Amotekun commandant based on his native intelligence, patriotism and acknowledged bravery shortly after Governor Seyi Makinde inaugurated the Southwest Security Network in the pacesetter state.
His burial rite was attended by the state commandant, Government functionaries, Kajola LG Secretary, Iwa LCDA Caretaker Chairman, PDP leaders and host of others.
