Ibadan based Human Right Activist and Philanthropist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has condemned the attack and setting ablaze of his house at Soka axis of Ibadan, Oyo State.
Igboho equally called on governments at levels to prioritize the security of lives and properties of the people of the entire Nigerians as the most important cardinal programme that facilitates the stability of government and governance.
Sunday Igboho while speaking with press men shortly after his house was raised said that he received the sad news of his house that was attacked and set ablaze by the suspected hoodlums in the early hours of 2am, Tuesday, January 26 with rude shock.
He said,” what could have happened that my house at Soka Ibadan would be attacked and set ablaze by the suspected and yet to be identified hoodlums”.
“The sad incident was an act of wickedness and desperate acts by the agents of darkness who are conspiring to discourage us on the current struggles to liberate the entire yorubaland and largely the attainment of Yoruba Nation”.
“Yoruba land belongs to all us and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that the region is liberated from the current imbalanced federal structure”.
He said those who set his house ablaze had not been ascertained but the fact remains that it was insiders who led them and guided them to carry out the dastardly acts, adding that if they were bold enough, they should have come to where he lives currently now.
In another vein, he called on Ojodu who had been allegedly peddling rumours that he was part of electoral fraud that ousted Engr Olusegun Oni and orchestrated the emergence of Dr Kayode Fayemi, Igboho challenged him to come out with facts and swear with his children over the alleged electoral fraud.
Igboho called on governments to prioritize the security of lives and properties which he described as the most important programme that is capable of stabilizing the government and governance at all levels.
Some Nigerians has been reacting to Ojodu allegation to Sunday Igboho, the person stated that “I remember him trying to praise MKO, he said MKO gave him a Peugeot 504 in d 80s. That he had not driven before in his life but he was so excited by the gift, he drove the car (manual oh) from Abiola’s house in ikeja to ketu by himself.
That was when I lost all respect for him. How can any adult with a brain put pen to such a lie and circulate it? How?
