Some Officers of Operation Amotekun have confirmed the herdsmen’s possession of sophisticated weapons while encountering one another in a deep forest.
This was revealed in a viral video clip where Commandant of Operation Amotekun whose name and state are yet to be identified said that some herdsmen suspected to be Bokoharam were caught with the sophisticated AK47 rifles and other dangerous weapons in their encounter in a deep forest.
Commandant said that it was disheartening and painful that ordinary herdsmen were carrying powerful and sophisticated weapons with sack of bullets while the Law Enforcement Agencies and other paramilitary officers are carrying ordinary riffles.
He added that it was high time the governments at all levels swang into action and prioritize the issue of insecurity which has become the only challenges in the country that gives every Nigerian sleepless nights.
He equally called on patriotic yorubas and others to defend the heritage of Yorubaland, adding that it was neither a joke nor gainsaying that Bokoharam had infiltrated the entire Southwest Geopolitical Zone.

He said that the issue of insecurity that the governments were handling with levity may consume the country, provided an adequate attention is not given.
He enjoined all and sundry to be security conscious, be suspected of any suspicious movement and mindful of one’s movement.
