YORUBA NATION: Yoruba Parliamentarians At National Assembly Are Not In Their Right Senses — Sunday Igboho

Ibadan based activist and philanthropist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has described Yoruba lawmakers who are currently at National Assembly as ones who are not at their right senses, sequel to their failure and reluctance to handle affairs regarding the proposed creation of Yoruba Nation.

Sunday Igboho said this while featuring on a radio programme in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

According to him,”When it’s time to excrete, definitely the anus will open is one of the Yoruba proverbs which was said by Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho during an interview with Akinyefa an on air personality (OAP)”.

” Yoruba should no longer be identified with Nigeria, says Sunday Igboho.
Nigeria is a cheat to Yoruba race, Nigeria is a system designed to cheat Yoruba kingdom and Yoruba can not find rest in Nigeria, we all know this, so we call for the separation of Yoruba Nation”.

“Our mothers engaged in petty trading to sponsor our schooling with the hope of better future, now we completed the educational level, the federal government has no job to offer us, all the money generated from western part is being taken to the northern part for infrastructural developments and the government will not do anything for us other than to allow these killings by the herdsmen and bandits to linger on. And now, we say enough to that”.

“It was read in the news that the federal government is planning to sell its properties to finance 2021 budget, I am less concerned about that, anything that has to so with Nigeria does not bother me”.

“My priority is to put an end to the killings happening everywhere and the betterment of Yoruba land”.

” I do not care if the whole of Abuja is sold out. It is we the Yorubas that need to pull resources together to achieve a common goal which is to deliver ourselves from the oppression of Nigeria”.

“For the people who want to know if Are Ona Kakanfo is actual in support of what I’m doing, you see, it is good to put your house in order before dashing out”.

“He holds a position already and you know all eyes will be on leaders, isn’t it?
As for me, I don’t aspire for any chieftaincy position which makes it easier for me to do, when it’s his time for support, he will surely show his supports.Are already knows what we are doing and where we are heading with it”.

“Those senators we have there are only sleeping over there, are they the ones we are to discuss Yoruba matters with? are the properties they are talking about not for them to be sold in order to continue with their merriment?”.

“Senators who are no longer in their right senses, if they were to be in their right senses, will they fold their arms and watch the killings in Ibarapa linger on?.A doctor and a filling station owner were murdered, nothing was done and yet they claim they are our senators”.

“Very soon the government will go after the traders for tax and you call it “federal”, government where some are benefiting and and others are at the receiving end, is that Nigeria?”.

“And as for Seriki whose days are already numbered to leave Yoruba land, believe me, he would have left before the said day, Friday. He dare not wait to face the consequence of staying”.

” We put a halt to how much he had killed us, it’s enough let him leave our fatherland”.

“Some even go all along to say that I crave for popularity, woe be tide me if I do. My father already instructed me when I was a child to always fight for the oppressed”.

“This is oppression and our leaders need to be questioned, imagine the amount of food stored up in their various warehouses with some other valuable items like generators, machine and so on, that were meant for the masses”.

“All our leaders who already betrayed us will suffer for it. When Awolowo was killed, the Yoruba race suffer for it until now, same as Abiola. Awolowo already said that we will deliver ourselves when the time comes. Let it be known that Seriki will surely leave Ibarapa on Friday”.

“Kudos to the Ondo State Governor who already showed a leadership trait by giving the Fulanis seven days ultimatum to leave the state. That’s a good example I expect our leaders to exhibit and not the other way around”.

“I put to you today to disagree with the popular saying that Yoruba cannot be fought for, in this case, it is different because the prominent people of Yoruba land, the likes of Gani Adams, Alaafin of Oyo, Olubadan, Seriki Onido of Ido etc. are in support of my decision to fight for Yoruba freedom”.

“I just read their body languages, they are all in support and if they claim not to be in support, let them do so with a video.
Come to think of it, who among us can go to Kano or Kaduna to start kidnapping and build a big palace and have an inscription written “Emir of Sokoto from Yoruba land” but Seriki has the effrontery to build a palace with the inscription, “Palace of Seriki of Igangan land”.

” That had to stop, we don’t want visitors that will continue to cause mayhem in our fatherland. All we want is for the Fulanis to leave our fatherland”, Sunday Igboho concluded
