Oyo Lawmaking Aspirant, Adesina Organizes Football Competition, Promises Gifts For the Winners

The Lawmaking Aspirant into Oyo House of Assembly, Hon. Segun Sheriff Adesina has organised the first edition of Christmas/End of the year football competition among the clubs in Ibadan Northwest Local Government Area and One’Badan Local Council Development Area, Oyo State.
Adesina who is to represent Ibadan Northwest State Constituency said that the football match will last between 10th to 17th December, 2020.
He disclosed this in a release issued by the Competition’s Coordinator, Coach Ismail Adeleke and made available to naijatodaynews.com
According to him, “the first edition of the HON. SEGUN SHERIFF ADESINA CHRISTMAS/ END OF THE YEAR FOOTBALL COMPETITION among clubs in Ibadan Northwest LGA/Oke’Badan LCDA will take place from Thursday 10th to Saturday 17th December, 2020, at the Co-operative College Sports Ground, Eleyele.
“Sponsored by Hon. Segun Sheriff Adesina as part of his ongoing efforts to promote unity, peace and development in Ibadan Northwest LGA/ Oke’Badan LCDA, the finals of the competition will come up on Thursday 17th December, 2020”.
“Winners of the competition will receive the sum of N50, 000 and a gold plated trophy, while the first and second runners up will go home with the sum of N30, 000 and N20, 000 respectively”.
“There will also be awards in the individual categories such as Best Player, Best Goalkeeper and Highest Goal Scorer”.
Fixtures as released by the Organising Committee are as follows:
GROUP A: Adeshina FC, K.A.C and Juventus FC.
GROUP B: Attitude FC, Kadanher FC and The Stone Boys FC.
GROUP C: Crown United FC, Zenith FC, Onirin Superstars FC and Inalende United FC
Thursday 10th: Adeshina FC vs Juventus – Time 9am, Attitude FC vs The Stone Boys – Time 10am, Crown United FC vs Onirin Super Stars FC – Time 11am, Zenith FC vs Inalende United FC – 12pm.
Friday 11th: K.A.C FC vs Juventus FC – Time 9am, Kadanher FC vs The Stone Boys FC – Time 10am, Crown United FC vs Zenith FC – Time 11am, Onirin Superstars FC vs Inalende United FC – Time 12noon.
Saturday 12th: Kadanher FC vs Attitude FC – Time 9am, Adesina FC vs K.A.C FC – Time 10am, Inalende United FC vs Crown United FC – 11am, Zenith FC vs Onirin Superstars – 12noon.
