The Caretaker Chairman, Iseyin South Local Council Development (LCDA), Iseyin Area of Oyo State, Hon. Fafasi Raheem Ajibola FM has lavished encomiums on Governor Seyi Makinde, sequel to exhibition of uncommon leadership qualities on unbiased processes that eventually culminated in the birth of Southwest Regional Security Network that is code named ‘Operation Amotekun’ in the pace setter state.
FM while speaking with Khalid Imran, Editor, naijatodaynews.com in his office at Molete Iseyin shortly after the Governor’s inauguration of the state’s Operation Amotekun, hailed Makinde’s rare leadership qualities that allowed the process and procedures of recruitment, training and subsequent allocation to the various Local Governments to be perfect and distinct in history.
FM said that Makinde’s readiness and eagerness on Amotekun recruits’ partnership and collaboration with the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) would no doubt bring the expected and productive results.
Adding that their receipt of training at Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo township couple with their submission to operate with the LEAs will unequivocally make Oyo State a crime free state.
The Council Boss, described Makinde’s plans and resolve to allocate the Amotekun’s recruits to the thirty three(33) local governments and three hundred and fifty one(351) wards across the state as a perfect arrangement which he reiterated that would give room for fairness, equity and justice.
FM stressed that Makinde’s firm stance since day one on the birth of Operation Amotekun in the pacesetter state and Southwest at large shows how patriotic, concerned and pragmatic he is as regards the security of lives and property of the people of the state, southwest and Nigeria as a whole.
FM said, Makinde whom many had initially described as novice in politics and governance has now beat the people’s imagination, sequel to his uncommon performances which are geared towards the readiness and possibility of changing the face of pacesetter state in all ramifications.
He enjoined all and sundry regardless of political affiliations and platforms to throw weight behind the Governor whose focus and governance centre on taking the state to enviable heights.
FM acknowledged the remark of the Provost of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education while he said,” Makinde remains the first governor of Oyo State who had in history visited the academic insititution”.
“Adding that Makinde had been exhibiting the unique leadership qualities ,owing to how he pays the current salaries regularly, backlog salaries and bonuses of several years and firm stance on welfare of teaching and non-teaching staff among others in Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo”.
Provost said,” Governor deserves appreciation that he ensures and approves the teaching and non-teaching appointments to many students who had their NCE programmes completed at the citadel of academic institution”.
