OPINION: IGE, AUXILLARY And The Correspondence Theory Of Truth | Isiaka Kehinde

We tell lies for many reasons.. Some times a butter lie to amuse a person or lighten up ones mood. Reason for telling lies are multifaceted as lies themselves. ,The bottom line is there must be a reason or reasons for calling black white except one is a chief in mischief or a perpetual liar who is incapable of telling the truth unless it’s clothed in fashion. That’s why we should not always easily beileve not to be taking in by liars. One must have big eyes to detect big lies.

Just as Rene Descartes the Philosopher admonish us to start every thing with a doubt and think deeply before falling a victim of lie, so is the the issue of truth and lie being a shopworn material in philosophy- discuss more about than any other.

There are five main theories of truth. Correspondence, redundancy, semantics coherence and pragmatic.

Public perception can just be the aggregate view of the public. If a person is perceived as a thief ,such a person must be engaging his mouth whistling along when frying popcorn coherence truth equates the truth with how it coheres with another.

Now back to Auxillary case, the doubting Thomas in me would not to believe the story at first ,I placed a call to Auxillary himself , he has switched off . To look for the nitty gritty of the case I called another person who confirmed the story to me and went further to warn me of the consequences of allowing such impolltic manner to go unchecked. I later called Dr ige who was almost crying for the public perception angle it might wrought on the party and the sympathy he has for GSM . He didn’t not even dwell on the damages , psychological or material, he was just particular about GSM and the party by extension. So is ige saying the snow is white because Sunlight is white.? Let’s begin by asking? What motive has he to tell such lies against his own family? Is he looking up to be a park manager?

I may not say bro Mukaika was at the scene because I have no proof, but it will take my dead mother to come back alive that nobody disturbed peace in that area .

No doubting the facts that seminar might have been conducted on abvs ( attitude, behavior, values and strategy) for members of PMS in the past to smoothen their moral uppity, it leaves to question whether the moral of the training was no t lost on them ?. There are basic three ways to judge a character , what the other people say about him is one. What he does and what he says about himself
also count.. Don’t let us invent our own theory. Let those involved be called to order and not give Auxiliary bad name.

For somebody to edit the truth of the story to look as a lie beggared question. It’s even more painful than the incident itself. Such a person must be physically present at the scene as an eye witness or show me some clips of the video to defoliate the trees of lies. He must be a person who is more truthful than Plato . He who has lied once ,they say, puts question mark on his truth. He must be like Aristotle in nature who once said in Latin that” Amicus Plato sed magis amica veritas.”
.if not, it may take a longer time to puncture the story as a lie . Its against logic to say the story is a figment of imagination or a fallacy of judging a person by his officeLet’s call a spade by it’s rightful name..
