Senator Teslim Folarin of Oyo Central Senatorial District was in Ijebu Igbo on Saturday to pay a condolence visit to the widow and family of late Senator Buruji Kashamu.
The revelation of Folarin’s visit to Kashamu’s family was contained in a release personally issued by the Senator’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade YSO Olaniyi Elodyper and made available to naijatodaynews.com
“Oloye Folarin, during the condolence visit, described the late politician as a generous man, who placed highest premium on welfare of his community”.
“My solmn condolences to the entire Kashamu family, political associates and followers as well as the people of Ijebu Igbo and Ogun State on the passing of my dear brother, Senator Buruji Kashamu”.
“The three-term federal lawmaker along his entourage prayed that Almighty Allah Forgives late Kashamu’s shortcomings and Grant him Aljanah Firdaus”
“Kashamu died on last week Saturday at the First Cardiology Consultants Hospital, Lagos State after battling with COVID-19. The late philanthropist represented Ogun East Senatorial district at the 8th Senate”, Olaniyi explained
