As today marks the 61st birthday celebration of Former Honourable Minister of State, FCT of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; Oloye Jumoke Akinjide, the Caretaker Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government of Oyo State; Hon. Sanusi Musibau Adesina (SHABA), felicitates with her and describes her as a mother, an exemplary leader, a philanthropist and one who is loved by all.
Chief(Mrs.) Olajumoke Akinjide who is also Leader of the People’s Democratic Party of Nigeria was born on the 4th August, 1959, and had her primary and secondary education at Maryhill Convent School and St. Louis Grammar School (both at Ibadan, Oyo State of Nigeria) respectively between the years of 1963 and 1974 after which she left Nigeria for the United Kingdom where she bagged Bachelor of Laws(LLB) with 2nd Class Upper in 1980 at King’s College, London, University of London and a Master of Laws(LLM) in 1981 at Harvard Law School and was called to the Nigerian Bar(BL) in 1982. Oloye Akinjide also worked as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria between the years of 1983 and 1996.
SHABA says he regards her as his political mother and prays for more fruitful years in sound health for Oloye.
