The Ibadan based popular man, Chief Sunday Adeyemo who is popularly known as ‘Sunday Igboho’ has described the death of former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi as a painful loss to Ibadanland, All Progressives Congress(APC), Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
Igboho’s statement of commiseration was contained in a condolence message he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com
Igboho described the deceased a thoroughbred administrator, disciplinarian and astute politician whose garnered experience had assisted him to govern Oyo State with traceable and enviable achievements.
He added that Ajimobi remained the first elected governor who had administered the pacesetter state on two consecutive terms of 8 years.
Igboho eulogised Ajimobi for his ability and administrative prowess to beautify and decently changed the outlook of Ibadan and entire Oyo State.
He stressed that the deceased was a brilliant and intelligently gifted man whose these qualities assisted to lead successfully and achieved unprecedentedly.
Igboho said that late Ajimobi would be sorely missed for his brilliance, wisdom and oratory prowess in turning things positively in Ibadan, Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
In his commiseration, Igboho enjoined the family of the late governor and most especially his amiable wife, Mrs Florence Ajimobi to take solace and have firm belief that God giveth and taketh at an appointed time.
He equally commiserated with entire indigenes of Ibadanland, members of All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State Government and Nigeria over his demise which he described as grievous and painful.
Igboho prayed that God would give the family of the departed soul, the fortitude to bear an irreplaceable loss.
