The Chief Medical Director, University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Oyo State, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo says” no new cases of covid-19 pandemic have been recorded in about a week”.
The message was contained in a release which centres on ‘ Update on Diagnosed Cases of Covid-19 in the UCH, Ibadan”, issued and signed by UCH Covid-19 Media Team on Monday, May 5th.
In its words, “It’s the beginning of another week in the battle against the novel Corona virus SAR CoV-2. This is another opportunity to appreciate all our health workers giving their very best in this battle and to continue to encourage the public to comply strictly with all public health related instructions”.
“As at Sunday, May 3, 2020, no new cases have been recorded in about a week”.
“The UCH branded face masks will be launched at the CMD’s foyer at 9am by the CMD, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo”.
“The University College Hospital, Ibadan will continue to render excellent care and services to all our patients”.
“The Hospital equally enjoins everyone to abide by the required infection prevention and control measures such as physical distancing, regular hand washing, use of hand sanitizers and face masks”.
” We will continue to update the public accordingly” and equally enjoined people to stay safe.
