Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Debo Ogundoyin has assured the workers of the Oyo State House of Assembly to be ready to see changes as the assembly is set to equip and train them with the introduction of ICT to work with in their various departments.
He also charged to be professional while discharging the duty as many benefits are set to rain for deligent workers.
He made this known while having a meeting with the Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission and Workers of Oyo State House of Assembly at the western hall, House of Assembly complex.
He called for full delication of staffs with full professionalism in dicharging their activities to the legislative sector.
“God has given us a Governor who is willing to support and we are ready to give better condition, better allowance and most importantly, better materials to work with”
” Give the Assembly three years full delications and I can assure you of many changes and benefits”.
Speaking on the motive of meeting, the Chairman of Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon Musa Abdulwasi said the state led of Engr Seyi Makinde has encourage commissions to be interactive with their Staffs in order to know for whatever challenges they might be facing.
“Engr Seyi Makinde has encourage us as a commission to ensure that we interact with workers under us to ensure high productivity”
He also talked about the reform of the commission which is to enhance productivity and making the workers work and operate deligently under an autonomous system.
He enjoined the workers to be faithful and avoid exposing the legislative secrets to the public.
The workers were sentized and lecture on the importance of having a unique uniform to differentiate between a public servant and a civil servant, Hon Hassan Oguntoke gave the lecture.
