APC’s Economic Mismanagement: A Legacy Of Suffering And Hardship. The Root Cause Of Nigeria’s Woes | Asiwaju Adekola Adeoye

The masses are crying out in anguish as the cost of living continues to soar in our beloved country. The suffering of the people is palpable, and it’s heartbreaking to see families struggling to make ends meet. The prices of basic necessities like food, shelter, and healthcare have become unaffordable, leaving many to wonder how they will survive from one day to the next.

The cost of food, in particular, has become a significant burden for many households. A bag of rice, a staple food in our country, now costs an arm and a leg. The same can be said for other essential food items like beans, garri, and vegetables. The prices of these items have increased exponentially, making it difficult for people to afford even the most basic meals. The consequences of this are dire, with many families going to bed hungry and children suffering from malnutrition.

The situation is not any better when it comes to healthcare. The cost of medical treatment has become prohibitively expensive, leaving many to die from treatable illnesses. The hospitals are filled with people who cannot afford to pay for their treatment, and the few who can afford it are often forced to sell their belongings or take out loans to cover the costs. This is unacceptable in a country that is supposed to be a democracy, where the welfare of the people is supposed to be a priority.

The suffering of the masses is not limited to just food and healthcare. The cost of shelter has also become a significant challenge for many people. The prices of houses and apartments have increased dramatically, making it difficult for people to afford a place to call home. Many are forced to live in slums or on the streets, exposed to the elements and vulnerable to crime. This is not the kind of life that anyone deserves, and it’s a travesty that our leaders have allowed things to get this bad.

The root cause of all these problems is the mismanagement of our economy by our leaders. They have failed to create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and provide for the welfare of the people. Instead, they have lined their own pockets with our money and left us to suffer. This is unacceptable, and it’s time for us to demand more from our leaders. We need a government that will prioritize the welfare of the people, not just the wealthy elite.

I believe the masses will do the right thing and vote out the APC government. The people are tired of suffering, and they are ready for a change. They will not be fooled by empty promises and propaganda. They will demand a government that is transparent, accountable, and truly committed to their welfare. And I have no doubt that they will get it. The power to create change lies with the people, and I have faith that they will use it wisely.
