In a bid to safeguard the well-being of its citizens, the Ona Ara Local Government, under the visionary leadership of Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious, has announced a comprehensive awareness campaign focused on fire safety and cholera outbreak prevention. Slated for July 2nd, this event promises to be a groundbreaking initiative that will empower residents with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent and combat these potentially devastating threats.
According to a press statement released by the chief press secretary, Rahmon Alawode, the campaign will feature an expert lecture by Engr. Funmi Obisesan, a renowned international expert and proud daughter of the soil. As President of the Funmi Obisesan Development and Empowerment Initiative (FODEI), Engr. Obisesan will share her expertise on preventing and curbing the spread of cholera, as well as fire safety measures.
The event, which will take place at the Ilaji Resort International Mini Stadium, will also be graced by the distinguished presence of the Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotels & Sports Resort, Chief Engr Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland.
