Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has condoled with the immediate family members of prominent PDP chieftain, Alhaji Ademola Santos, who passed away recently.
The governor described Alhaji Santos as a great party man and grassroots mobilizer, whose death came as a shock to him.
Makinde submitted to the will of God, who reserves the absolute right to spare or take lives, and prayed that Allah grants Alhaji Santos Aljana Firdausi, while protecting everyone he left behind.
The governor’s condolence message was contained in a statement signed by his Special Assistant (Print Media), Moses Alao, on June 15, 2024.
In the statement, Makinde said: “I got the news of the death of a notable leader of our party in the state, Alhaji Ademola Santos. Alhaji Santos’ passage at this time is shocking and sad, but we can only submit to the will of God.”
He added: “I condole with the Santos family of Oyo, the PDP in Oyo Federal Constituency, Oyo State and the South-West. It is my prayer that Allah SWT grants him Aljana Firdausi, while He also protects everyone he has left behind.”
