Yesterday, June 6th, 2024, Hon. Engr. Aderemi Abasi Oseni, the honorable member representing Ido/Ibarapa East federal Constituency and chairman of the House committee on FERMA, was conferred with an award of excellence and grand Ambassador of Youth empowerment by the Committee of Youths On Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) in Abuja.
The award recognizes Oseni’s outstanding efforts in engaging youths for national development and positive youth policies, which align with the government’s policies and programs. Chief Obinna Nwaka, the Director-General of CYMS, praised Oseni’s dedication to empowering youths and promoting peaceful coexistence, ethnic, and religious cohesion in the nation.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Oseni expressed his gratitude to CYMS for the award and acknowledged their vital role in shaping the future of Nigeria through youth engagement and education. As an advocate for youth empowerment, Oseni has established the Remi Oseni Foundation for Better Life and Youth Empowerment (ROFBLYE), which aims to foster better lives, empower young ones with diverse opportunities, and enhance political involvement among youths.
Through the foundation’s efforts, Oseni has launched an initiative to raise 100 young millionaire entrepreneurs by December 2025 in Ido/Ibarapa East federal Constituency of Oyo state. This commendable endeavor demonstrates Oseni’s commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders and promoting economic growth and wealth creation in Nigeria.
