Former House of Representatives member and Executive Adviser to the Governor on Inter-party Affairs, Hon Busari Olayemi, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde on his first year anniversary in office, marking the beginning of his second term.

In a statement released to the pressmen, Hon Olayemi expressed warmest felicitations to the Governor, praising his unwavering dedication to the people of Oyo State.

“In his first term, Gov. Makinde demonstrated his commitment to transforming our state, and we are thrilled to see him continue this excellent work in his second term,” He said.

Hon Busari Olayemi highlighted the Governor’s impressive achievements, including the completion of critical infrastructural projects, the improvement of healthcare and education as well as the creation of employment opportunities for youths.

“Governor Makinde’s leadership has been a beacon of hope for our state, and we are confident that his second term will bring even greater progress and development.”

The former legislator and adviser emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in governance, urging all stakeholders to continue to work together to support the Governor’s vision. “As we begin this new chapter, let us put aside our differences and work towards a common goal – the prosperity of Oyo State.”

Governor Makinde, who was inaugurated for his second term on May 29, 2023, has pledged to continue his administration’s efforts to improve the lives of citizens, promote economic growth, and strengthen social welfare programs.
