In a heartfelt display of appreciation, former Egbeda/Ona Ara House of Representatives member, Hon Busari Olayemi, has expressed gratitude to Oyo State Governor, H.E, Engr. Dr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, for his appointment as Executive Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs.
Olayemi, who served in the House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015, was appointed to the coveted position on Friday 17th May 2024.
Hon Busari Olayemi has been working diligently to foster unity and cooperation among the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the State.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan, Hon Busari Olayemi said: “I am deeply humbled and honored to have been appointed by His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde, as Executive Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs. This appointment is a testament to the Governor’s commitment to inclusivity, I had worked with him as DG Oyo State Liaison Office, Abuja and I am eager to work with him again to build bridges between political parties and promote the welfare of our great state.”
Hon Busari Olayemi praised the Governor’s leadership, saying: “Under the Governor’s visionary leadership, our state has witnessed unprecedented growth and development. I am excited to be a part of His Excellency’s team and contribute my experience and expertise to the advancement of our state.”
The former House of Representatives member also expressed his appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for the trust reposed in him, promising to work tirelessly to justify the confidence placed on him.
